About Bluestalk Holidays...

For something really special try Bluestalk Holiday Bungalow, it has a Tourist Board 4 star gold rating and is situated in the very quiet secluded village of Bratoft, close to the famous Gunby Hall National Trust property and Massingberg family residence, with the Nation Trust land and conservation areas surrounding the property.
Bluestalk bungalow is close to Burgh-Le Marsh village which is approximately a mile and a half away for you to buy all your grocery provisions, there is a Post office, Spa and Co-op grocery store in the village.There are several hotels and several local public houses with resturants for dining out and trying the local food.It is only 6 miles away from Skegness Coastal resort

On arriving at Bratoft Manor, pass through the double gates and on up the drive turning into the court yard where you park your car and unload to Bluestalk Bungalow. You will then be shown into Bluestalk Bungalow where your holiday begins. The bungalow is bright and airy and well equipped for 2 or 4 people, it has plenty of room for you to sit and relax in after your long journey.
It is a gated residence with a secure car-parking area next to the bungalow, so you will not have to worry about your car or belongings.
It is ideal for Senior citizens or people with walking difficulties as you can park and unload your car with ease a few feet away from the bungalow front door.
The whole of the outside area of the bungalow is block paved for ease of walking. There are flower beds, lawns and trees all round the 3.5 acre gardens and the bungalow also has it's own patio garden with tables chairs and seating for you to be able to to rest and unwind in.
The gardens and trees are maturing nicely since we first displayed all the pictures. Everywhere is lovely and green with bushes and flowers in bloom for most of the year now. We also have lots of birds and wildlife in the gardens and of course you will smile at our funny ducks messing around chasing each other around the ponds and gardens during the day time.

The separate lounge is furnished and equipped to a high standard, has a new flat screen digital TV with freeview with d.v.d player (not shown in the photo), comfortable three-piece suite, coffee table and soft furnishings, with the main lounge, hallway, bedrooms and dining rooms being carpeted throughout, really warm and cosy. For your home from home comforts it has full central heating and double-glazing throughout the whole bungalow.
The sun lounge has panoramic views over the large wildlife pond and gardens, furnished with cane furniture, nice to sit and relax in with a glass of wine and a good book, or just watching the ducks swimming on the pond.
The door from the sun lounge open's onto the guest's patio and garden which is planted for all year round colour. The garden has comfortable seating and tables to sit out and relax in for the warmer summer month's.
Kitchen and Dining room

Kitchen and separate dining room. Both have panoramic views over the large pond and gardens.
The sparate kitchen is well laid for all your needs. The kitchen has worktops with cupboards underneath and above the work surfaces. It is fully equipped for 4 people, it has a four ring gas cooker, with electric cooker hood extractor fan and light above, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, electric toaster, kettle and dishwasher as standard fittings. It has a small kitchen table and chairs, which can be used for preparing food, or to use for a quick cup of tea and a snack, if you are in a hurry to go out to enjoy yourselves in Skegness or surrounding area's
Go through the archway and into the main dining room. The main dining room has a formal table and four chairs to sit and enjoy your meal in, with mood lighting on a dimmer switch for that romantic meal.
The dining room also has a flat screen t.v. so that you do not miss your favorite soap, or programs while you are eating.
Guest's Bedrooms

The two good sized bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes, dressing tables with mirrors and comfortable high based beds, bedroom one has a king-size bed and bedroom two has two single beds. Hair dryers, bedding and towels included as standard.

This is the master bedroom with a kingsize bed, dressing table and stool and hairdryer, and fully fitted wardrobes for 2 people.

This bedroom has 2 single beds for children, or couples wishing to sleep seperatley. The single beds can also be zip and linked together to make a six foot bed for honeymooners. Plenty of options to choose from.
We also have a large cot in our store for babies or small infants, which can be used on request.
The bedrooms are situated at the rear of the property and are very private and quiet, so you will have an excellent nights sleep with no noise or disturbance. You might just be lucky and hear the barn owls hooting if they are out hunting.
Guest's Bathroom

The bathroom is quite spacious and is tiled from floor to ceiling, it has a full size opening window with matching blinds. The bathroom also has a full size white bath with a side grab handle. There is a separate fully tiled, step in shower cubical. The bathroom also has a white china toilet and wash-hand basin, heated towel rail and hot and cold water supply included. The bathroom is always cleaned to a high standard, along with the rest of the bungalow and recieved a 100% marking in our in 2010 Tourist Board Assessment.

The bungalow has it's own garden, with a block paved patio area to sit and relax in. Guest's can also walk round the main gardens to see the variety of plants,trees and shrubs planted for all year round colour and interest.
Or take a look in the ponds to see the variety of fish swimming about in the sun, we have some large ghost carp and blue and gold orfe's, as well as all the other diferent colourful varieties. We also have some funny puddle ducks running around, along with some black and white call ducks.
For those guest's who like walking there are plenty of village walks and lovely scenery in this picturesque village, which is surrounded by National Trust land and farming land, and some mainly agricultural land. It is a rural village, quiet and peaceful and full of tranquility, with an abudance of wildlife and birds. Just a few minutes drive away there are Mill Hill fishing lakes for those who like to have a day out fishing. Also several good golf courses locally around Skegness
